The Villa
Sleeping up to six guests across three beautifully appointed en-suite bedrooms, the villa is designed for both relaxed living and effortless entertaining. The master suite features a king bed (convertible to twins), a full en-suite bathroom with both bath and shower, and a private balcony from which vineyard and mountain views unfold at leisure. Two further bedrooms each offer king beds (also convertible to twin configuration) and their own en-suite bathrooms, ensuring every guest enjoys complete privacy and comfort.
Inside, the open-plan living and dining spaces are anchored by a full gourmet kitchen, an indoor fireplace, and indoor braai facilities: ideal for long, convivial evenings in the cooler months. Smart TVs are positioned throughout the villa, while high-speed Wi-Fi keeps you connected should you need it. Air conditioning in the second and third bedrooms ensures a comfortable night's rest year-round, and an inverter backup power system means load shedding will never interrupt your stay.
Step outside and the villa truly comes into its own. The private swimming pool is the natural centrepiece of the alfresco living space, complemented by a wood-fired hot tub; perfect for star-lit evenings with a glass of estate wine in hand. Daily housekeeping keeps the villa impeccable throughout your stay, while a private chef is available on request for those evenings when you'd rather not lift a finger. Estate wines can be arranged for in-villa tastings, bringing the cellar experience directly to your table.
Life on the Estate
Benguela Cove is far more than a place to sleep, it is a destination unto itself, and one of the finest settings for group accommodation in the Western Cape.
Dining on the estate centres around the Moody Lagoon Restaurant, an award-winning venue where seasonal menus are paired with wines produced from the surrounding vines. The on-site wine tasting room and working winery offer guests an authentic insight into the estate's winemaking philosophy, with guided tastings available throughout your stay.
The estate's private 2.7-kilometre lagoon waterfront is exclusive to guests and provides direct lagoon beach access as well as a range of water sport activities. The Lady Bonnie Pontoon Boat offers a leisurely way to explore the water, while vineyard safari tours give guests a behind-the-scenes look at viticulture in one of South Africa's most celebrated wine-growing regions.
Families are particularly well catered for. The Pirate Adventure Golf course entertains guests of all ages, while the dedicated Splash Pad offers hours of safe, supervised fun for younger children. A 12-kilometre walking and running trail winds through the estate's pristine fynbos landscape; part of the UNESCO-recognised Cape Floral Biosphere. A Park Run takes place every Saturday morning, making the estate as invigorating for active guests as it is restorative for those seeking stillness. Should you prefer to explore beyond the estate, a car and driver service is available upon request.
The estate operates under 24-hour security, providing complete peace of mind throughout your stay.
